Background information

I am an experienced music educator with a strong background in classroom teaching, curriculum design, and community music practice. Over the years, I have mentored pre-service and in-service teachers, led workshops, delivered presentations, and contributed to the development of meaningful music relationships in both formal and informal teaching contexts. My work focuses on fostering musicianship, enhancing student learning, and supporting educators in building inclusive and engaging music programs. I work independently with schools and institutions to deliver practical professional development that supports growth, confidence, and excellence in music education. I also collaborate with music teachers and music education students in adult music ensembles to promote community music practice and strengthen music education networks.

I empower music educators to design and lead sustainable music programs that strengthen musicianship, foster participation, and inspire students. I mentor students and teachers, run incursions and workshops, and deliver presentations to guide teachers in building confident, enduring programs that ensure music education thrives beyond any one individual, in schools and in the community.
